Once a foal’s birth score has been recorded, it comes with a digital EDS Optimus Score™ Certificate to confirm authenticity. A signed physical copy can also be ordered - a keepsake that stays with the horse through every change of hand. Available on our Buy Now page.

EDS Optimus™ begins with your mare herself, assessing her true potential, then, alongside any stallion in the world, projects an EDS Optimus™ birth score for her offspring by each individual pairing, so your eventual choice of sire reflects your own objectives, desired level of investment, and, of course, personal taste, the stallion that simply fills the eye. That birth score stays with each foal for life, ready to inform any conversation that follows, training, sales, or the decision to retain or move on.
For those newer to breeding, EDS Optimus™ offers an additional, unbiased view of potential purchases or lease arrangements, helping you make the best choice for your breeding goals. Each year, EDS Optimus™ also publishes her own cohort of five in our Rankings, the foals of that season assessed as having the greatest raw potential, presented together as the standouts of the crop rather than individually ranked. It’s a list built from what’s actually been bred, not from hype or paperwork, giving breeders and buyers alike an early, unbiased signal of which foals to watch.
